Clear backing with non-skid dots allow you to see over your working area with no obstructions while keeping the ruler in place. The red lines are designed to “tuck” your bock into. Use the inside EDGE of the red angle to cut squares and trim up blocks. The diagonal has extra large dots for fabric positioning.
